Whiskey Wars Factory Tour!

In the 19th century, Marines were dispatched from the Navy Yard to crack down on illegal whiskey distilling in what became known as the WHISKEY WARS. Today, Kings County Distillery is proudly making moonshine and more on premises. Join BLDG 92 and Kings County Distillery on a tour (and tasting!) that explores whiskey scandals of the past and the resurgence of the industry today.

Brooklyn Navy Yard : Past, Present & Future Tour

For over 150 years, the Brooklyn Navy Yard churned out America's most famous fighting ships, from the USS Maine to the USS Missouri. Today, the Yard is considered a national model for sustainable urban industrial parks. This tour, given in partnership with Turnstile Tours, explores the 300-acre facility and offers opportunities to get off the bus for a closer look at the Yard's most intriguing sites, including a dry dock that's been used since before the Civil War, the 24-acre former Navy hospital campus that is virtually frozen in time and the nation's first multi-story LEED ...

Join BLDG 92 for holiday family fun at our Fifth Annual Gingerbread Ship Workshop. We are thrilled to have noted gingerbread chef/gingerbread architect, Jon Lovitch on board to create a gingerbread ship model for children to decorate and "commission".

Experience industry in action in the workshops and studios of the navy yard. This tour led by Turnstile Tours begins at BLDG 92, which showcases some of the 330+ businesses that call the Yard home.  Visitors will go behind the scenes at New Lab a community of hardware-centric designers, engineers, and entrepreneurs leveraging advanced technologies to create meaningful new products.

Experience industry in action in the workshops and studios of the Navy Yard. This tour led by Turnstile Tours begins at BLDG 92, which showcases some of the 330+ businesses that call the Yard home.  Visiotrs will go behind the scenes of Bien Hecho a business that is  continuing the tradition of wood crafting in the Yard. You will also visit Refoundry; a compay that trains formerly incarcerated people to repurpose and refurbish discarded materials into unique home furnishings and accessories.
