Subway

The Brooklyn Navy Yard is easily accessible by subway. Employees and registered visitors can take the F, G, A, C, 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, and R lines to reach nearby stations that connect with the free Yard shuttle for employees and registered visitors.

The Yard offers a free shuttle service for employees and registered visitors to and from DUMBO (connecting to A, C, F trains) and Atlantic Terminal (connecting to G, 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R and LIRR trains) on weekdays only. The Circuit – Brooklyn Navy Yard’s New Intracampus Shuttle
Get around inside the Navy Yard on The Circuit, a free internal shuttle for tenants and invited guests that will get you where you need to be – whether it’s to/from the parking garage at Building 303, Wegmans at Admirals Row, or the restaurants at Building 77 and Dock 72. The Circuit will operate on a continuous route, with no set schedule. See Map above.

Car

Use 63 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205 for GPS navigation to the Yard. Parking inside the Yard is limited. On-street and metered parking are available outside of the Yard on Flushing Avenue and on many of the adjacent streets. Non-metered parking is available underneath the BQE along Park Avenue.

The Yard remains open, however, gate access has changed due to COVID-19.

  • The Cumberland Street gates will reopen to vehicular traffic starting Monday, April 5.
  • Gate hours are 5:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
  • The Sands Street and Clinton Street gates are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • The Clymer (Kent Street) gate is open 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

NYC Ferry

The Astoria Route stops at the Yard’s Dock 72. Click here to see map and schedule information.

Bike

  • The Yard has created a bike-friendly environment with bike racks throughout for employees and registered visitors only.
  • All public bike riders looking to access the NYC Ferry landing you must enter and exit through the Clinton gate.
  • Citi Bike stations are located both inside and outside of the Yard, click the link to see the Citi Bike station map.

Bus

  • MTA Bus Lines B67, B48, B57, B62, B69 all stop within or near the Yard.
  • The B67 bus stops inside the Yard at the Sands Street gate (near Wegmans), on Market Street (across from Building 77) and at the Clymer Street/Kent Ave gate.
  • The B57 and B69 stop outside the Yard at Cumberland Street and Flushing Avenue.
  • The B62 stops outside the Yard at Vanderbilt & Park Avenues and is a one-block walk to Flushing Avenue.
  • The B48 stops outside the Yard at Flushing and Classon Avenues.
