Need to rent a bicycle?

All participants must provide their own bicycle and safety helmet.  Make sure to set up your rental in advance.

Ride Brooklyn Bike Shop - Located a 10 minute bicycle ride from the Brooklyn Navy Yard at 468 Bergen St in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn.

Blazing Saddles - Located near the South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan. You’ll need to cross the East River – either by bicycling over the Brooklyn Bridge or taking the East River Ferry to Williamsburg – in order to get to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Please plan 30-40 minutes for this ride.

CitiBike - CitiBike stations are located nearby the Brooklyn Navy Yard.  However, Turnstile Tours cannot guarantee the availability of these bikes, and all participants are required to provide their own safety helmet when on a Turnstile bicycle tour.  Because the CitiBike system is designed for commuting and riding short distances, additional fees may be incurred for using a bike for an extended period, and Turnstile Tours cannot be held responsible for these fees.  Rides that last over 30 minutes for a 24-hour or 7-day pass holders, or over 45 minutes for an annual pass holder, will result in overtime fees.  Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page and the Citibike pricing page for more details.
